NOAA Teacher at Sea Online Application

Form A (Participant's Application) of the application package may be filled out online. Support materials for online applications must include Forms B and C, (recommendation letters) and Form D (health form), which must arrive as ONE package and must be postmarked by December 31, 2009 in order to be considered for the 2010 field season.

Application packages that are missing items, have items sent separately, or that are not postmarked by December 31 will not be considered.

To apply ONLINE, please fill please click the "Apply Online" link, which will take you to Form A. ONCE YOU COMPLETE FORM A ONLINE AND PRINT IT, FORMS B, C, AND D NEED TO BE FILLED OUT AND MAILED IN WITH FORM A IN ONE PACKAGE.

Form C: Colleague's Recommendation
Form D: NOAA Health Services Questionnaire. (Note: You must have passed a TB test on or after 10/01/2009 in order to be eligible to sail in 2010.)

Selections

Applications will be reviewed by the NOAA Teacher at Sea Selection Committee. After review, applicants will be notified via e-mail of the Committee’s selections.

Participant placements will be made approximately 1 to 2 months prior to the sailing date.
