Beth Spear

NOAA Teacher at Sea, Beth Spear, gathers data on sharks aboard the Delaware.

Beth Spear, a science teacher at Central High School in Salem, WI, was aboard NOAA Ship Delaware II for 11 days in August while scientists conducted shark and red snapper surveys in the Gulf of Mexico. You can read more about this important scientific work by clicking here.
